CRS Supremes Student's Ambassador 2023

LOUD AND PROUD!

The College of Rehabilitation Sciences stood out for the Student's Ambassador 2023 held at Liceo Civic Center, February 22, 2023.

Mr. Ron Sean Rey Alagaban, a first year BSPT student and Ms. Stephanie Joyce Alilin, also a first year student from BSOT represented the CRS department and showcased their beauty and wit on the said stint.

Out of 12 pairs of delegates from different departments, Ron Sean Rey Alagaban and Stephanie Joyce Alilin advanced to top 6 for the question and answer portion. This portion will determine the top 3 students who will take the crown, female and male category.

Ms. Stephanie Alilin clinches the top 3 spot for the student ambassadors female category along with the representatives from the College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy.

On the other hand, Mr. Ron Sean Rey Alagaban bagged two minor awards as part of the top 3 best in casual and best in business attire during the Liceo Student Ambassadors Preliminary Competition last February 17, 2023 at Limketkai Center.

"My experience has been fantastic and fruitful. It has been a great adventure to be a part of the Liceo Student Ambassadors 2023 as I learned how to carry myself confidently and live up to what an aspiring student ambassador should be. It has been a great honor to be given the chance to represent the CRS Department because we may be the few, but indeed we are the proud and the loud"

"Ever since the beginning of my journey, I just wanted to represent and let our department be known. I already set my mind to have a good time and learn new things for my own growth. I knew that once this is all over, I’ll be back to my academically-focused life, so I might as well make the very most of it. It was really nice to get to know ambassadors from other departments. I even met strangers who cheered for me which makes me very emotional whenever I reminisce about it. All those late night rehearsals and stressful wardrobe fittings was worth it in the end. Until now, it’s like I’m still experiencing jet lag from all those events. If you ask me, I think my favorite part of this event is the Q&A portion where every Licean gets to hear what each ambassador stands for and what their advocacies hold. Let this remarkable moment be a reminder to everyone that as long as you speak for your heart, the possibilities are endless. I hope we could always remember that very night where the few jaguars cheered a big roar, loud enough to win the crown!" Ron Alagaban and Stephanie Joyce Alilin when asked about their experience on Students Ambassadors 2023.

Dubbed as the few and the proud, the College of Rehabilitation Sciences radiates dominance, equipped with wisdom and might and ready to face adversities in whatever field they encounter.
