August 8, 2022 marks the beginning of the academic year 2022-2023, which depicts the introductory rites of Liceo de Cagayan University—the annual Jumpstart 2022. The Liceo U Civic Center located at the Main Campus was filled with freshmen coming from different programs and colleges.
The College of Rehabilitation Sciences-SBO representatives welcomed the freshmen as they entered the portals of their Licean dreams. Positioned on the left wing were our blazing Jaguars from BSPT and BSOT. The event started off with a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem led by Liceo U Senior High School Glee Club. The hosts were very much enthusiastic as activities and games were catered by them. Videos were presented that brought information about Liceo U’s history and foundation. Following their assigned colors, the Civic Center was full of colors and bright hopes from the freshmen. All of the programs were introduced and each one gave their competitive chants. CRS roared proudly as they delivered their chant with high energy. Furthermore, different personnels with their highly-respected positions were called to deliver various orientations for the students to know more about the University, especially its rules and regulations. Performances from different university levels have shown great pride to everyone who has witnessed the said event.
In the afternoon, the CRS freshmen proceeded to the CRS Demonstration room at the Paseo Campus headed by Mr. Paul Christian Canoy for their orientation regarding the College of Rehabilitation Sciences and the program they chose. The freshmen, including the faculty members, introduced themselves and got to know each other. As we live with the Licean values in-lined with total human formation, indeed, the CRS hones students to be prepared enough in facing life-long learning challenges that lead to their success in the profession they ought to become.
WELCOME TO LICEO UNIVERSITY! WELCOME TO CRS, freshmen. You are now one of the few and the proud!
